Each photo is presented in a 2.35 aspect ratio, the same aspect ratio as old cinemascope movies. I bought my first drone, a used DJI Mini, in 2021 to gauge whether I wanted to dive into this type of photography. That next summer, I decided to buy a DJI Air 2S.

3 years into drone photography, I broke my drone's gimbal when it fell off the hood of my car. Due to geopolitics (Donald Trump being an incompetent human being who goes for whatever cheap fear based politicking he can to serve his NPD ego, in this case convincing people that DJI was spying on Americans), I was not able to get the gimbal fixed due to a ban on DJI imports. So, I've been taking photos with a broken gimbal for the last year and a half as of July 2026.
