2.35:1 is the same aspect ratio as cinemascope movies from 1955 to 1970. I like 2.35:1 because of the scale that I can achieve with it. If a storm is coming on the horizon, it's hard to capture the full thing in 8x12, which is the standard aspect ratio in full frame (35mm) and APS-C cameras. These drone photos are mostly from my home in Wildwood, Missouri. The road, highway 100, goes west into Franklin County. The sunrises are east, towards the city of St. Louis.
